Directions to Christ the King churchKettering is a growing market town on the border of East Anglia and the Midlands. The original footwear industry has all but disappeared and the town now has a mixed economy enlivened in recent years by the construction of the A14 (A1/M1) link road which skirts the town. Kettering lies at the heart of a region ear-marked for significant expansion in housing, and we are preparing for the opportunities this will provide for fresh expressions of church and church growth.

The Parish, on the eastern side of town, is the Ise Lodge Estate which was built from the late 1960’s onwards. About 8000 people live here. It is a community representative of all ages with many families drawn by the excellent schools on Churchill Way.

Directions

Find your way to Junction 10 of the A14.

Turn towards Kettering on the A6003. Go through a set of traffic lights, passing a petrol station just afterwards on your right.

As the roads bends to the left, take a right hand turn – Warkton Lane.

Continue along Warkton Lane until you pass the Ise Lodge Garden Centre on your right. Just after this, turn left into Deeble Road.

Follow Deeble Road down the hill. After a kilometer or so, shortly before the road levels out, there is an access road on the right leading up to the church.
