Welcome! Whether you've just moved to the area or have lived here all your life, we hope our website helps you to find out everything you want to know about Christ the King.

Key information about our church:

When and where does the church meet?

We have two main services each Sunday.

The 10.00am, which is also livestreamed via our YouTube channel, and if you join us in the building we also have children's groups for Year R through to Year 7.

The 6.00pm, which has a group for young people from Year 7 through to Year 13.

We meet at:

The Church of Christ the King
Deeble Road
Kettering
Northants NN15 7AA

What should I expect when I visit the church?

You will receive a very warm welcome, particularly from our Welcome Team who will be able to answer your questions and direct you to where you need to go. The services are about 75-90 minutes long, with opportunity for prayer, worship, and a sermon/talk generally based on a passage from the Bible. Different parts of the service are led by one of our leaders or a church member, often with a chance to respond during or at the end of the service.

What do children and young people do during the services?

Most Sundays we run an exciting programme of groups for the children and young people who join us at CtK each week. Click the group below to find out more:

Groups at 10.00am

Creche room
Reception & Year 1 Life Group
Year 2 & 3 Life Group
Year 4 & 5 Life Group
Year 6 & 7 Life Group

Groups at the 6.00pm

Youth Life Group for years 7 to 13

Children stay with their parents at the beginning of the service as we worship together. When it is time for their activities to begin, the service leader will announce this and pray for them before they go to their groups. The first time they attend, please go with your child(ren) to register them and help settle them into their group.

For more information about what happens in the children's and youth work please visit the relevant age groups for you under Our Community here on our website.

Is there a dress code?

None at all. Please just be yourself and come dressed in your 'normal' clothes. Whilst our clergy wear clerical collars they don't wear formal robes or suits and all our teams should have something to identify them, usually a name badge.

Will I have to join in?

Please feel free to join in with all that happens in our services as you feel able; you can simply observe, or participate as much as feels comfortable for you. When you feel ready to Get Involved further there are lots of opportunities to get to know people and serve on one of the teams that support our church community.
