Our work is dependent on the generous giving of members and friends of the church. Christians believe that the Bible provides guidance on giving. However, here at Christ the King no one is compelled to give to the church, although we do believe that those who love Jesus and are committed to our work for Him will most definitely want to.

“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver”
(2 Corinthians 9.7)

There are a variety of ways by which you can currently give to the work of Christ the King:

Monthly planned giving direct from your bank

Many members of the church commit to a regular monthly gift to CtK, recognising that this is an expression of biblical principles and the love of Jesus, as well as being practical and convenient. We often call this "planned giving."

We use the "Parish Giving Scheme" run by the Church of England to administer our planned giving. It collects money direct from your bank account and any available Gift Aid from the government. We do hope you will join this scheme which you can arrange either by:
  • Collecting a form from the church office. (N.B. please only use original pre-printed forms obtained from the church. These will include CtK's reference details), or
  • Going direct to the PGS website where you can set up a payment online. Please click this link - Kettering Christ the King - Parish Giving Scheme
  • Existing PGS givers - if you want to change your gift you can phone PGS on 0333 002 1260

One-off gifts
You can make a one-off gift by cash or by a cheque payable to “The PCC of the Church of Christ the King Kettering.” If you have already signed a Gift Aid Declaration you do not need to sign any further forms but simply tell us that your gift is covered. But if you have not signed a Gift Aid Declaration and are eligible please enclose one of the following forms with your gift:
